About Me

Hey! I’m Natasha. I’m newly married to my wonderful husband Theo and we’re currently waiting for our baby girl to arrive this July! Last July I basically immigrated from Los Angeles, CA to a small town in North Carolina where the two and a half of us are currently getting rooted.

As I’ve reached the grand old age of twenty-five, it’s become clear I have expensive taste but my bank account doesn’t seem to cooperate. Thus, I’m trying to live a rose gold life on a copper penny budget. I’ve gotten discouraged when it feels like everyone I follow on social media & blogs are constantly buying & advertising super pretty things. I wanted to start this blog because I believe you can live a beautiful–even fabulous–life without constantly spending money. While I’m not 100% sure on the direction of this blog, the one thing I want to promise is that anything I write about or promote will be either be economical by my standards or basically free.

(My favorite unfrugal happiest place on Earth!)

The actual most important thing about me: I’m a believer in Jesus Christ and everything good about me is because of Him. I would never claim to be an expert on or a teacher of the Bible. Or on marriage, parenting, or really any aspect of life in general. Anything I post on here are beliefs or practices that have benefited me in my walk with the Lord, but I am in no way trying to be an authority. I want to learn from others much more than I want anyone to learn from me!

Mostly I just want to encourage you that you can study the Bible, set goals for your life, sip cold brew + kombucha, get married, wear ‘designer’ clothes, dine like you have a meal subscription box…without spending excessively on things you really don’t need.
